And at 1st Base for the Giants...

I'm just making this post to go on record.

The Giants are going to sign free agent Nick Johnson to play 1st base. I've got no official inside information, but as an accountant, I can add 1 and 1.

Johnson was relatively healthy for a change, with 457 at bats. He hit .291, but his outstanding statistic was an on base average of .426, with 99 walks. Unfortunately, his slugging percentage was only .405, as he only hit 8 homers.

He just hit 31 years old, with fading left handed power facing Levi's Landing. I hope the Giants don't consider him their next clean up hitter.
